Denzell Williams (President)
Denzell Williams was raised in Philadelphia and studied Media Technology at Temple University. While in school, he realized that most jobs are thankless and going the extra mile to achieve excellence was not something that was readily done or even recognized. He was hired right after graduation but was not fulfilled and knew he needed a career and not just a job.
“When I met Gabrielle [Corcoran, President of CORConcepts], I felt like I found the missing piece to the puzzle. I learned that I was a product of my choices and not of my circumstances. For the first time, I felt like I had the option to be rewarded for my hard work and diligence and go as far as my goals could take me,” Williams said.
After working for four months in the CORConcepts Philadelphia office, Williams made the move with Corcoran and opened the new office in McLean, Virginia. Williams knew that the move was the best thing for him to do in order continue mature. He said, “I was able to take advantage of the opportunities COR offered me and learned how to be a better person both professionally and personally.” Corcoran believes in rewarding those who work hard and in less than two years, Williams was promoted to assistant manager and was able to take over operations when Corcoran was on business trips. He was also able to spearhead the community service projects that the company took on.
While some of the most successful companies in the world are asking for government loans, Williams has opened his own business. International Ingenuity has taken over the market since the CORConcepts move to Chicago.
Williams discussed his leadership style by saying, “I will reward the same work ethic that got me to where I am and continue to help people reach their potential. While others lay off, I am hiring.”
