Maryellen Lamparter (President)
Like many college graduates, Maryellen returned to her hometown of Cambridge Maryland. It was a small community on the Eastern Shore that did not provide much opportunity in her field. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 2003 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in African American Studies. Initially, she began working in a law and counseling position with victims of domestic violence. After a few months she realized this was not a career fit.
Encouraged by friends and family to get started in business, she searched for a career in sales and marketing after relocating to Philadelphia. This proved to be quite difficult since she did not have a business degree. Wanting experience, she started with a new growing firm CORConcepts, Inc., the first company she found willing to train. Initially she just wanted to get her feet wet in the field, but soon her goals and mentality would change.
After 18 months of Gabrielle’s training program at CORConcepts, Maryellen expanded to pursue her own goals as an entrepreneur. During the summer of 2006 she opened LMG in White Plains, NY. Due to her success building a team in NY, a new opportunity became available with a similar, but much larger client. Maryellen moved to the suburbs of Detroit to open her second office, Defined Strategies, in March of 2008.

Defined Strategies Inc. is the third addition to the CORConcepts direct marketing force. This team first entered into the Detroit market March of 2008 in response to unprecedented success. Their focus now is to develop and strengthen their client relationships by demonstrating success in each market where they expand.
Purpose and Mission
Through continuous development, professionalism, integrity and commitment to our clients, our mission is to set the standard for success in our industry by bringing Defined Strategies to the forefront of outsourced client acquisitions. We will expand into multiple cities and campaigns spanning the globe, meet interesting people, travel to incredible places, and quote a lot of movies.
Driving Directions:
From Detroit Metropolitan Airport:
Take I-94 west to I-275 north. Exit 6 Mile Road and take it WEST about ½ mile to Haggerty Road. Turn RIGHT onto Haggerty Road and take it to 7 Mile Road. Turn RIGHT onto 7 Mile Road and you will see Seven Mile Crossing about ½ mile down the road to your right. There will be an Andiamo Restaurant and large glass buildings. Go through the front doors and we will be in the main hallway.
From the East side:
Take 696 West to 275 South/ I-96 East via Exit 1 towards Detroit/Toledo. Exit 7 Mile Road via Exit 169. Turn right off of the exit and see Seven Mile Crossing about ¼ mile down the road to your left. There will be an Andiamo Restaurant and large glass buildings. Go through the front doors and we will be in the main hallway.
From the West side:
